Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To describe the efficient neurocognition observed in childhood exposed to vulnerable conditions. METHOD: a descriptive / exploratory study was carried out in 38 teachers, to collect observations on the variables: vulnerability and neurocognitive skills more developed in childhood and adolescence in vulnerable conditions in the department of Zacapa. RESULTS: it was found that rural children and adolescents are more exposed to conditions of vulnerability, the most frequently observed vulnerability condition is poverty, on the other hand it is evident that from childhood there are desires for improvement and dedication. CONCLUSION: The survey showed that the vulnerability factors affect the different groups in different ways. As a result, in the present study, the teachers showed that memory and attention to the consequences; these conditions do not annul the will, the desire or the participation of the affected persons, so in this study it is visualized that in the dedication to study and school activities there is more concentration and effort.
