Abstract

PROBLEM: detection of speech difficulties in boys and girls through neurotechnology. OBJECTIVE: to determine speech difficulties from the teaching perspective in pre-school children using the neurotechnological tool "General Questionnaire for the detection of speech problems in children from 4 to 6 years of age". METHOD: descriptive exploratory study on "neurotechnology applied as an assessment tool to identify speech problems in preschool children from the teaching perspective through the Google Forms platform as the main neurotechnological tool". RESULTS: 38.1% of teachers have indicated that at least 5% of the number of children have some speech difficulty, while 25% percent of teachers indicate that 25% of students have some speech problem, considering the highest percentages. Regarding the clinical profile of boys and girls from the teaching perspective, 88% of facilitators have indicated that most of their students have presented difficulties when producing the phoneme /R/. CONCLUSION: presenting a speech problem can only be diagnosed by a language specialist and this neurotechnological tool can be used by teachers as a starting point to intervene by referring to a language therapist for an adequate therapeutic process.
