Abstract

PROBLEM: determine the importance of sleep and if it is affected after suffering from Covid-19, since the pandemic that was born in 2020 changed the way of living life forever, both for better and for worse. OBJECTIVE: to determine the quality of sleep in patients who have suffered covid-19 during the period of the year 2022 and who have been selected to participate in the study throughout 10 American countries. METHOD: descriptive cross-sectional study with an analytical approach in patients who have suffered from covid-19 in the period 2022. The sample is of the non-probabilistic type since only patients who have suffered from the pathology of Sars-Cov-19 were selected, previously to determine your sleep quality. The sample was selected in a non-probabilistic way since the individuals were determined non-randomly, since they must have a previous history of having suffered from Covid-19. RESULTS: Based on the Pittsburgh quality test, it was determined that the sleep quality of the sample is classified as: asymptomatic (less than 5 points) with 78% of the population evaluated (223 individuals). CONCLUSION: It is determined that Covid-19 does not affect the quality of sleep cycles.
