PROBLEM: maternal health is part of the basis of successful embryonic development, resulting in the expression of a person, which translates into neurodevelopment that will define the foundations of the human being. OBJECTIVE: determine the influence of maternal health during pregnancy as a predictor of childhood neurodevelopment. METHOD: hypothetical deductive, all pregnant patients from 14 to 43 years old were chosen, applying the Prenatal Anxiety and Healthy Lifestyle questionnaire, as predictors of childhood neurodevelopment. RESULTS: Maternal health during pregnancy was measured through lifestyle and general well-being indicators. Evidence that 28.7% of the population is pregnant between the ages of 14 and 18, added to this that 57.5% of the population only attend primary school, taking into account that some patients did not finish it, this can be influenced because 49% of the population has a rural background, and this is a defining factor due to the lack of opportunity and support for women in these areas. CONCLUSION: there is physical and emotional instability in the pregnant mother, which puts the fetal formation process at risk, and therefore the child neurodevelopment that is part of the child's physical and behavioral growth.
